Playback ICE, has designed, produced and planned and delivered a of a wide range of Career Long Profession
al Learning opportunities for all learners across Scotland and beyond. Our team of qualified educationalists have extensive experience across early years, primary, secondary education and tertiary as well as in the special school sectors. They have a broad range of expertise in leadership development, self-evaluation and improvement planning at strategic and operational levels, health promotion, teaching and learning approaches and additional support for learning.

The broad aims of our CLPL programmes are to support and prepare staff for education in the 21st century by:

  • developing professionalism in order to impact on learnering
  • developing leadership and management skills
  • supporting those responsible for the education of children and young people
  • building staff confidence and competence
  • encouraging collaboration and co-operation between all key stakeholders
  • encouraging creativity and innovation amongst school leaders
  • increasing knowledge and understanding of the importance of reflective practice and self-evaluation to lead improvement
  • developing informed attitudes and commitment to the key values of diversity, equality, citizenship, health and wellbeing and inclusion
  • supporting the successful implementation of government and school priorities and staff CPD requirements
