The Playback Professional Resource Pack for Staff Training and Development
The training activities provide participants opportunities to examine and explore interagency working, the involvement of children and young people and families in decision-making processes, and person-centred approaches. They are extremely suitable for use with a wide range of multidisciplinary groups. The training sessions and individual activities are flexible and can be used to create training programmes that suit participants’ needs.
The fundamental underlying principles of the Playback ICE resources are to raise awareness, challenge perceptions and shift attitudes by addressing the wider concepts of disability, equality and fairness and to promote inclusion and active participation of all members of society.
The Playback Professional Resource Pack for Staff Training and Development is specifically designed to support staff working in education, social services and health who are responsible for services to disabled children and their families.
Each training session includes:
- Time allocation
- Training Outcomes
